Rhonda and Lee on Ineffable

                                         Venus Flytrap

Carolina Beach State Park was very nice.  So many trails and it is home to the Venus Flytrap, a unique carnivorous plant!  It’s right off of the Intercoastal Waterway and has access to Cape Fear River.  The price was right too, about $30 a night.  They had bathrooms, showers and an area to sit inside.

We walked a lot of the trails.  Some were right on the beach, while others meandered through the woods and up a few hills.  We saw the Venus flytrap.  They’re very small, not what I expected.

While here, we met Jane and Bryce on Boatniks.  We had a good time, sharing stories, laughs and drinks.  The looper lifestyle isn’t too shabby!

We only stopped for one night at Swansboro, NC mostly to shower and get gas.  While there, we met Rhonda and Lee on Ineffable.  There are just starting their loop.  How exciting for them! It seems like eons ago when we first started.  I’m sure they have so many mixed emotions about their new journey and they will learn a lot!
