Beaufort, NC, pronounced Bo-fert, (not to be confused with Beaufort, Bew-fert, SC), is a great place!  It was charming, quaint and everything you want. Actually, both Beaufort’s were great places to stop.

Beaufort, NC had beautiful, blue water, because it was close to an inlet. The town had a lot of historical places to see.  Actually they had an area, dedicated to the history of the town, with buildings constructed to resemble the past.  Beaufort also had many restaurants, small stores and a brewery.  We stayed at Beaufort Town Docks which was the perfect location.

Lots of loopers were here too!  (Our friend, Nagui, was here too!) That made it fun!  Plus, we happened to be here for a festival of some sort, which included live music!

We met another looper couple, Jeff and Pam Pauline on Sea the USA.  They’re retired and currently live in The Villages but are from Carbondale, IL!  We couldn’t believe it!  It was nice to meet them - finally met people from out part of the world!
