Atlantic City, NJ
And here they are!

I was excited to be going to Atlantic City, but a little disappointed when I get there. I don’t know why I was wanting to go; I guess because of the hype of “Atlantic City!” We stayed at Farley’s Golden Nugget, basically a casino with a marina. The marina was fine - showers, laundry and casino. We didn’t even gamble - we’re saving our money for gas!
It’s probably a good thing that we didn’t gamble, as we weren’t very lucky. We left Atlantic City, cruising the New Jersey Intercoastal Waterway. There’s a lot of no wake zones. We had come into an area with some homes, restaurants and floating docks. As we were cruising, we noticed the Coast Guard motioning us to slow down- just about the time we had started to slow. Anyway, about an hour later, sure enough, the Coast Guard boarded our boat. I put Traxx in the V-berth with me while they checked everything out. The good news is we passed the inspection, the bad news is they said we were getting ticketed for creating wake in a no wake zone. It should be approximately a $100 fine, however, they said the magistrate would call and we haven’t heard anything yet.
We stayed two nights and we’re traveling with Malcolm and Rachel on Stay Cool. They’re super sweet and fun to be around.
I can see why people stay here - very nice rooftop pool and bar - pool wasn’t open though. And if you like to gamble -‘it’s a win-win (hopefully). I tried to take some pictures inside of the casino, but I was scolded. You can’t take pictures of the card tables in a casino - I didn’t know that! You learn something new everyday!
