Troy, New York
The bridge at Troy, New York.
A memorial to our Veterans.
We had completed the necessary maintenance on Boomerang, (until next time), and decided to move on with our journey. The New York canals opened on May 19 and we will be going through them very soon, on our journey to Canada. It’s always good to wait a little, before entering the locks, to give ample time for debris to wash downstream.

We stayed at Troy Downtown Marina. It was ok; a place to stop. The downtown area looking bustling. When we asked the lock master about a restaurant, he said, “Just stay in the downtown area and you will be fine.” We were traveling by ourselves, so we didn’t venture too far. We did find a restaurant on the waterfront and left the following morning.
